The firm was created over 175 years ago when Henry Johnson of Dudley set himself up in business on his 21st birthday. Within days he was hard at work for numerous clients, and from then on he never looked back, taking on assistants to cope with an increasing workload. Through successive generations of partners, directors and skilled staff the firm has sought to maintain Henry Johnson's high reputation and professional values.

Our West Midlands office used to occupy the historic Harris & Pearson building at Brierley Hill in Dudley borough, formerly the head office of a firebrick company.
